The campy horror aesthetic and variety of settings made for an enjoyable experience, even if the story itself is fairly bare-bones. The villain, in particular, I found to be a bit bland, but their voiceover made them an entertaining-enough foe.Technically, the game is a fine example of a HOG: there's a fair amount of back-and-forth trundling throughout the game, but the addition of fast travel in the game's map made that much more tolerable than it otherwise would have been. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for the bonus chapter, and I found myself repeatedly going back to the start of the game one room at a time, only to have to return to my last location and repeat the process all over again. That said, the bonus chapter is much shorter (only 8 rooms), and there are no achievements tied to it, so this might not be a problem for you.All in all, this game definitely has drawbacks, and it could do with a bit more polish. That said, if you're a fan of the genre, or you're just looking for something to spend 2 hours on, you could do worse than Demon Hunter.. Great! But getting the Alchemist achievement was very(!) annoying.. This is one of my Favorites games . IF you love hidden object games you should play this one . the puzzle are great and some little hard. The story wasn't really strong. The bonus chapter as someone said added no new element to the story. IAt least the grahpics and music was nice. I'm glad I got this in a bundle and didn't pay a lot for this HOG.. This game is a very good one. I found it has good graphics and I really like that it has so many hidden object scenes. sound effect are good and the story behind it is interesting. For the price of this game I would give it a hands up. One of the worse HOGs from Artifex.- problems with registering clicks - infuriating when the game has achievements that want you to do multiple hidden object puzzles without a single misclick- multiple situations when the character bypasses objects she's looking for lying in plain sight only to come back to them later with absolutely no reason- bland story in general- translation errors/untranslated cognates that should've been caught by a simple spellcheck- achievements that require you to do puzzles on the first try, without testing. Misclicked because you didn't know the puzzle controls? Tough luck, start a new save to retry.4/10, worth a game if you're bored and got this in a bundle, not worth otherwise.Also, don't pay actual money for this.. A short, but a good game.I was a bit worried after I saw the reviews, but their is no reason for it. It's a good little game with nice Enigmas and good pictures.If you want a short game which entertain you for a time, take this game.
